2008 Season Tournament Rules
1.
At no time
before, during, or directly after a club tournament shall alcohol be permitted. First violation means disqualification from
tournament. Second violation is ejection from the club with no refund.
2.
At no time
shall any boater fish any closer then 75 feet of any other boater to accommodate fishing pressure.
3.
At no time
shall any boater pull ahead less then 200 feet in front of any other boater. A common courtesy to other boaters.
4.
Tournaments
will have a staggered start. Numbers will be drawn 15 minutes before the start of every tournament.
5.
Weigh in will
be a five fish total. Largemouth and smallmouth bass will only be weighed in.
6.
A weigh bag
is required to weigh in fish. Violation means disqualification from tournament.
7.
Fish must not
be removed from live wells until the scale is set up. Violation means disqualification from tournament.
8.
Fish must be
at least 12 inches in length.
9.
There will
be no credit for dead fish to reduce the number of dead fish at the ramp.
10.
There is to
be no dead fish thrown back in to the water at the ramp. Violation means disqualification from tournament.
11.
Live bait is
prohibited.
12.
Navigation
lights are required for night fishing and under fog conditions while underway.
13.
Arriving late
to weigh in will result in a 1 pound penalty for every minute late up to 15 minutes. Longer than 15 minutes results in DQ
14.
Only N.E.B.H
members are aloud to fish club tournaments.
15.
During weigh
in, when the weight is announced, that announcement is the final decision.
16.
There will
only be two (2) members aloud on each boat during tournament.
17.
There will
be no prefishing within 4 hours of a tournament.
18.
There will
be no use of any underwater filming or video equipment permitted during the course of any tournament.
19.
There will
be no use of any underwater electronic fish attracting equipment.
20.
All State
and Local laws applied to all tournaments in the state the tournament is held. It is the responsibility of the member to know
all of the applicable laws.
Note:
Rules can change at any time by club member who chose to put them to a vote at a club meeting. Notification and enforcement
of changes will take affect at following the club event.
The
club rules will be enforced!!
Any
member with a complaint of a violation must bring it to the attention of the tournament director at the end of the tournament.
Any
disqualification results in loss of weight for the tournament.
